Dear Parents,

This newsletter is to let you know all the final arrangements for the last few days of term.

Friday 14th March Sports Relief Day
Just a reminder to say that the children should come in sporty home clothes e.g. tracksuits. They can bring in anything with wheels but no engine e.g. bikes, skateboards etc. We will be doing ‘The Mile’ in the afternoon and any of you are welcome to join us for this at about 1.15. The sports relief socks are £2 and the charge for doing the mile is £1, so please could children bring £3 in total.

Monday 17th March
We will be holding a whole school Science Day. There will be lots of fun science experiments taking place throughout the morning.

Tuesday 18 March a.m.
The Easter fair is in the morning. The Friends of Holme Court are arranging a raffle, an Easter egg hunt and the Easter bonnet competition. Some of the children are also organising some stalls such as a magnetic dart challenge, bric-a-brac stall etc. We would be grateful for donations of cakes, bric-a-brac or items suitable for a craft stall. Children might like to bring a little bit of pocket money to have a go at the stalls, but we would like to invite all of you to come and purchase raffle tickets etc at the beginning or end of the day. At 10.30 there will be a talk from Mindfruit who will talk about how to communicate better with children. This has been organised by Mrs Stokes.
