Dear Parents,

Thank you all for the wonderful support with the sponsored swim and the ‘river of pennies’. The children all enjoyed both activities, and have learned a lot about the difficulties children in The Gambia face every day because of lack of clean water and sanitation. Many of the children took part in practical maths sessions counting the money, estimating etc. We have already received a lot of sponsorship money, and would be most grateful if the rest of it could come in as soon as possible, so that we can send a cheque off to Unicef. We will let you know how much we raised once all the money is in.

ASDA go green for schools

We are collecting the vouchers for eco-equipment. You get a voucher every time you use an alternative to a new carrier bag.

Summer Fair

We will be holding our Summer Fair/Open Day on Saturday 7^th June, or if the weather is inclement a week later on the 14^th June, so keep these dates free in your diaries, so that you can come along to the social event/fundraiser of the year!

Easter Fair

This will be on Monday 17^th March in school time. There will be more details later in the term, but I can promise an Easter bonnet competition.
